HomePod mini launches in Austria, Ireland, New Zealand
AppleInsider said:
Users in Austria and Ireland, however, can now order online. Currently the Austrian site says that it is not possible to collect from an Apple Store. The Ireland site does not have the same notice, but it solely offers express deliveries direct to the buyer.
In both Ireland and Austria, the HomePod mini retails for the equivalent of $120, or $20 more than in the US. When users can buy in New Zealand, the price will be the equivalent of $114.Just FYI.
1. No bricks-and-mortar Apple Stores in Ireland, so no possibility of picking something up in store.
2. The prices quoted in Europe are the actual prices the buyer pays. It's the law. It's always a surprise when you pay more than the quoted price for something in [most of] the US. -

New Apple event invite recalls original Macintosh, iMac introductions
How about an ARM-based Mac with a slightly lighter or maybe a tidied-up version of macOS? It might be the right time to drop some outdated or little-used frameworks. Apple already has a pretty decent set of apps that are cross platform across macOS and iOS, so it's not a stretch to imagine that they might be able to put them on a newish platform.
