This is why the EU lags in tech and competition with their focus on flawed 'equity based' solutions. Why in the world should Apple build all the infrastructure and bear all of the ongoing costs for things like the App Store or Apple Intelligence, but then be forced to allow others to come in and disproportionately profit off that infrastructure without bearing the associated costs. If anything, *that* sounds like giving competitors an unfair advantage. If other companies don't like it, well they can go build their own phone/OS/app stores, which is exactly what Android is.

This is the first thing I noticed on my new iphone 7. Made a test call to a landline plus have taken several cell calls from friends and all are muddy, far-away sounding, distinctly lower quality than my iphone 5 which is clear, crisp and loud. A real bummer, but then again I hardly use it as an actual phone ; ) Still, hoping this is a software/carrier issues and not hardware because taking a phone in to get it replaced is a PITA.

It is just so insane that Apple sits on billions in cash, the largest company pile ever, more than double it's closest competitor, yet the market sees fit to trade it with a PE of 10 and it keeps tanking, while companies like Amazon trade at a PE of 500 and their stock still keeps going up. It makes zero sense.
