The press used to report the news, now it creates the news. In a 24 hour news cycle nothing is sacred... just fill the space. So yes, you're right. Wrong narrative. Today most phones at a certain price point do the same things. But what phone do you want in your hand when you do it...That was Jobs' test. And if today the Iphone 7 is the new boring, I'll take boring. 

The irony in all this is that the Chinese steal everything from the West. Now they are suing Apple for something they probably stole from Apple to begin with.  Apple should realize that they not only have to worry about "patent trolls" but now they have to worry about "country trolls" ie China, India, the EU. The safest and least expensive place to do business might be the US. Come Home.

I find it ironic that a man who fund-raises for Paul Ryan who has/will endorse Trump a hate-monger speaks out about hate and killing. Hmmmm.

They made a big mistake with the new MacBooks. They have been making big mistakes since Jobs died. And they have been making poor excuses to cover their big mistakes. Right now they have lost their vision and they will soon lose their following. There is no one at Apple with their fingers on the pulse of the public. Angela A . is a born snob from Cincinnati, the worst kind of snob. She appeals to the 1% and Apple has followed her lead(Wasn't the watch rollout a mess/overpriced)... and will follow her right into the oblivion of... remember when....

Well,that's certainly what they're interested in - MONEY.

It's not going to make a difference. At this point, Cook,  you have exposed Apple to the worst type of criticism... high prices, noncompetitive value. High margins are only good for the stock holders. When Jobs was in charge he was price/value sensitive.
