Apple Music rocks! I have a tip that readers might find super useful. And I wonder if this is well known... When I hear a song I like while out and about, I ask Siri to identify the song. About once a week I go to the iTunes Store app, tap on the 3 lines top right, and select Siri. From there I tell Siri to play them and add them to My Library. It’s a great way to grow a collection

Apple couldn't care less about Samsung and remain true to their values, and innovate and improve at their own well considered pace.

Off course. Once Apple sells product and out of warranty, Apple still cares as good citizen to support in newer IOS releases(unlike Android) but should not mandate what you do with that peace of hardware.. That is why I have been asking Apple to provide ONE place complete reset,wipe of device.

Not sure why you think that’s not there....

Settings/General/Reset/Erase All Contents And Settings/, touch it to initiate, confirm that’s really what you want to do, done.

Does that work, or does it stop you if you have Find My iPhone enabled?

What you refer to as “Find my iPhone enabled” is called Activation Locked. An activation locked phone cannot be wiped, restored, cannot turn off Find My iPhone, cannot sign out of iCloud etc UNLESS YOU KNOW THE AppleID AND PASSWORD. ie only the owner can allow the next owner to use the phone. So yes, it will stop you from wiping the phone at once if you have stolen or try to use someone else’s phone. If it’s yours, you can delete in about 3 easy steps. 

Hey everyone. Instead of going in to an Apple Store for a diagnostic for a battery issue, save yourself the hassle of driving and parking (and walking). Download the new Apple Support app and initiate a call to AppleCare. They can do the same diagnostic test and remotely access your iPhone, just as if you were face to face with them. I did that recently. Practically fell off my chair when the little red arrow appeared on my phone, thought it was computer only. Enjoy 😱

I get that 5GB seems a little frugal on Apple’s part. On the other hand, when you pay you’re not the product (as opposed to free GDrive and free Facebook and you’re definitely the product) You get privacy and encryption and stability and peace of mind and convenience. Surely worth 99c or $2.99/month?

If it's a missed opportunity for Apple, so be it. Competition is good all around. Imagine how Apple will innovate in response to this incentive. Ha!
