There are probably millions of iphone users who are like me. I have owned many iphones since the original was released. I will ALWAYS own one. So, now that my 5s is a bit long in the tooth, I am giving it to my daughter and now I'm getting the newest one. I don't really care about all the specs and whether it has this or doesn't have that. It is time for a new one and the 7 is the newest, so Apple got my hard earned money for an amazing, high quality, and reliable product, that I pre-ordered and will be getting Friday!

Apple seemed to be targeting the iphone 11 and 12 owners with this 16E release. Imagine upgrading from your 2019 model iphone 11, you get everything transferred over to your new 16E, then you realize that you can’t detail track down your many AirTags that you have, including keys, wallet etc. that even your 5 year old 11 could! What a disappointment! 

I am more upset with Apple not including Ultra Wideband in the 16E. Even the iphone 11 has it. It seems Apple really went backwards considering that a lot of iphone owners have multiple Airtags. It is so handy to locate our keys and wallets, etc. I realize that the SE model did not have it, but with the additional features added to the 16E, and the price increase, I just think that was a mistake to not include UWB. I would have considered purchasing the 16E, but I am just too spoiled with the detailed tracking with UWB and Airtags!
