Lack of updates and new models sees Apple Watch sales decline
As an owner of a Apple Watch 6, it is the O2 sensor. I won't upgrade without this feature.

Or those apple users could just read the email that was sent on June 18th, 2025 from the applepay@insideapple.apple.com to users that had opted into marketing email messages. They didn't need to shove this without prior approval abusing the App Notification subsystem.

Apple could have used pinhole-sized sensors in display to keep Touch ID on the iPhone X
The holes being proposed were not in the cover glass. Basically tiny holes in the space between pixels in the LCD/OLED layer.13485 said:Technically feasible I suppose, but the holes would quickly fill with lint, epithelials and other junk in short order.
