Samsung Galaxy fire blamed in evacuation of Southwest flight
It gets worse - Samsung's response is jaw-dropping:
"A Samsung spokesperson said the following:
“There is no evidence that this incident is related to the new Note7. We are working with the authorities and Southwest now to recover the device and confirm the cause."
This is serious stuff, and they're in Bagdad-Bob denial mode.
They ought to be taken to the woodshed for this.

Imitation is indeed the sincerest form of flattery. In design, and in business models. If everything were hunky-dory in the Android universe, Google wouldn't be trying to steal profits from it's (mostly) money-losing OEMs.
