Okay, you're definitely new to the internet. There have been plenty of free software distributions from legitimate developers where, if you didn't uncheck the right box during installation, you would find that your browser's home page had been changed, or it had a new toolbar installed in it. Java shipping with the Ask.com toolbar is probably the most notorious. RealPlayer was another one from the earlier days.

And that's not even getting into malware distributed on non-free products, such as when Sony distributed rootkits on their music CDs. So, plenty of "legitimate" companies have distributed adware/malware with their products.

As I recall, it wasn't forced onto people's devices. It automatically showed up in your list of purchased albums, but it didn't actually download until you chose to. It certainly didn't download onto mine.

This would be a lot easier if he had just attached an AirTag to each tooth beforehand.

According to the website, all they're gonna do is update the firmware. Nothing needs to be replaced.

Apple was only recently forced to allow alternative app stores; the lawsuit is about actions taken prior to that. If Apple didn't have to be forced kicking and screaming to create a level playing field, maybe these streaming services would have gone to alternative app stores instead of raising prices.

I don't use this feature because there's no way to change the duration; it's 30 days or nothing. If it could be set to 2 or 5 days then that would be great. I don't want an entire month's worth of deleted files in the trash can all the time.
