My use case is simple, I want mobility with decent battery lift and a good screen. I use cloud storage and have no need for external connectivity, I even charge my phone from a wall socket overnight. On the off chance I may need to plug in and charge, I got the $9 cable. I also bought the dongle with a USB A connector and HDMI port (if I ever have to present something), I expect this to remain mostly unused as I can't remember the last time I plugged in a USB device. I did invest in the Powerbeats 3 headphones for the W1 chip compatibility and easy pairing with my phone and the laptop, it also has amazing battery life. I see this as a great improvement reducing clutter and complexity while giving me a great platform to use over the next two years, perhaps longer.
