Amazing. The overall smart phone market is contracting. Apple’s iPhone sales are holding steady. And yet iPhone’s market share is shrinking. 

Apple is out of the business of routers. Someone else will fill that need.

Backpacker here. I'd love an Apple Watch if it fit my needs: long battery life, GPS and 100% independence from carrying an iPhone.

Lower price would help.

I was recently in Spain where Apple maps consistently failed to give accurate or even ANY public transit directions. 

Not only did google maps perform better, it allowed superb functionality even after data and wifi were lost. 

I love AM but I give credit where credit is due. GM aline got us where we needed to go. 

snoozy iPhone 7 will sell like meh. Shiny new iPhone 8 will sell a ton. Duh. 

One thing the company can't do, is claim that it will grow based on services and software. The reason is that, if Apple's hardware sales decline, so does its pool of buyers for services and software.

This would be different if Apple created original content (apps, movies, series). Then Apple could sell to Android and Windows users. Original content would also give a compelling reason to stay within the Apple ecosystem.

I hate Apple today. iCloud is still down for me. Can't sign into iTunes either. Just so frustrating.

Apple Watch? No. I personally will not be purchasing any more Apple gear until the company gets its existing stuff including the cloud working reliably.
