    You figure with $200 billion in cash they would test these products to perfection.

    This could be a real disaster year if people decide the iPhone X is too expensive and the iPhone 8 is actually the iPhone 6sss.

    My God, Tim Cook.  You had such a great last 12 months, but you are slipping.
    Been only here for a few weeks but your posts really do go from one extreme to the other.  You do tend to ruin a lot of threads as well.  I'd recommend sitting down and having a nice cup of tea

    Great article thank Dan.  I'm new to AppleInsider to really appreciated this article.

    I'm quite taken with the X.  It's the upgrade I'm wanting from my 6S.  My wife has a 7 Plus and it's great.  I want something with a comparable screen which fits in a a suit trousers (as I'm a Doctor).  Even if it's around the same price as the Note 8 here ($1000 = £869 with Samsung) I'd not see a huge hit over 2 years.

    My own 2 pence.  I think X is the anniversary edition, not a new Pro or Edition line of models.  I think it's expensive because of the components constraints.  Yes Samsung does the best OLED displays but does it sell 10 million plus S8s per month?  I think next year Apple will return to the standard 9/9 Plus line hinted at with the 2 OLED screen sizes for 2018.  Still might be wrong but mustn't grumble
