Apple's T2 proving troublesome for some professional audio interface users

The old "It just works" has been a thing of the past for too long now.Yes, I am aware that Apple's hardware and software was never perfect, but neither were they the clusterfuck of problems that they are now. -

Facebook enabled Apple devices to obfuscate data sharing from users, report says [u]
The Internet is not run for free folks. People are gonna make their money or they will fold their tents. I kinda enjoy the Internet, hope to keep it alive. The kind of crap FB and Google do, however, need to be outlawed. Not 'Opt-in', no 'I understand' buttons, plain and simple outlawed. I think a simple rule of a plain text cookie belonging to a single identifiable entity with little personal identifying info should be enough to make sure I get ads for computing devices and not flower arranging. I mean, how did these companies get the power to do all this for profit when there was such an uproar over the NSA doing less for national security? -

Term limits would be a great thing. At least then you'd not have an 80 year old Speaker of the House and equally old Senate Majority Leader. Along with the rest of the geriatric unit that is the Congress. No idea why term limits have been ruled unconstitutional for Congress while the President is term limited. Not an ageist, I just think they'd be happier out shopping, whittling, annoying others with photos of their grandkids... -
Mark Zuckerberg joins Tim Cook in calls for privacy, electoral integrity legislation
Shows the GDPR isn't the solution people thought it was going to be. It's a nice copout though, FB (and others) know there isn't a snowball's chance that global rules will be adopted. That allows them to say 'Well we are open to being regulated just not piecemeal' If only FB would go the MySpace route... -
