After chatting with them, I discovered that it's because I was trying to do the 0% financing through the Apple Card. Their terms have changed apparently, and they only do the 0% financing if you are with one of the big 3.multimedia said:

I love that new form factor! And the extra processing power. I'm finally ready to switch from my long-in-the-tooth Hackintosh back to a real Mac, and the Mini looks like it's the way to go.
