  • Editorial: Jony Ive's departure opens up an opportunity for Apple to think differently

The technology gurus, tripping over each other in the newspapers, are worrying about the future of Apple without the geniality of Jony Ive. Let me explain the positive way it in a very short way. It is as, if the arts and entertaining experts were pondering about the future of Hollywood and the film industry after the death of John Ford. A very disingenuous way to ignore the hundred of very talented Steven Spielberg’s knocking at the doors of the studios. Can any one list 50 of them? Perhaps more. There are many young talented people deserving to rise. Jony, you were great, one of the best; thank you, and goodbye. Let the show continue. It is up to Apple, now, and its ability to bring the best one.

  • Sales of iPhones down year-on-year despite popularity of iPhone XR in US

Let me see if I understand. Apple stop reporting o iPhones sales because they did not want to be under the tyranny of a speculative market versed more on unit sales, not in profits; and therefore, manipulating the value of the market of Apple. Yet, I also I understand, (please, correct me) that the revenue of Apple’s services corresponds to a combined revenue of Microsoft and Google all together, and while the focus is on Apple and the capacity of service growth with is variables of uncertainty, all the same variables are not applied to the competition; because those companies are projecting for the future. Well, at mi 70’s, and already a bit cynic, let me tell you all, that Apple has been for the last 25 years not only projecting for a future more realistically but also collecting profitable revenues as a result of those projections. When is WS going to realize that they are “holding the market wrong”?

  • Exclusive: New trailer for the documentary film about Apple's 'General Magic' spin-off

A mis 70 year, and for those who did not follow the news, allow me to tell the happenings. General Magic was not a failure, along with other developments at Apple, they were the most advanced ideas created by a technological company. However, they were destroyed by the then almighty power of Microsoft, who exercised a dark influence over the techno world, and they were ALWAYS pre-emptying all the ideas of Apple with concepts they never materialized. Years later came the dep of justice and its reach of monopoly due also to the complain of every major tech company (for blackmailing), most of them non-existent today. In fact the 25 millions dollars investment in classes B share of Apple by Microsoft to offset the investigation of the fiscal in 1997 was followed with the following text “ Microsoft support the competition and for such endeavour we are investing in Apple”. Investment which lasted only 3 moths before the sold the shares. It was transformed by the dark forces of Microsoft as a loan to Apple by Microsoft of constant ballooning amount (by now it has reached 600 millions?), which never occurred, indeed! by passing all the economics concepts of money trading by those experts in economics. Apple at the time (1997) had 500 million outstanding shares, 12 billions sales at year and 3.600 millions dollars cash in back and convertibles bonds, review Apple income statements and balance sheets.

  • Apple, Samsung slapped with class action over handset RF emissions

If that is the case, cars SHOULD have been forbidden because of the emissions and electronics. Idem for Tobacco companies, which incidentally have won al courts cases, and on and on. We humans, we have been living since beginning of times under the stress of the lions, natural disasters, solar radiations, stress, or simply, politicians (lol). We have survived; see happen now with the global warming. I guess this is how solicitors make money.
