  • Apple loses three Indian executives as company struggles with iPhone sales

Sorry but Apple will never do much business in India. Cook is an idiot. It’s a third world nation. You’d have as much luck getting Africans to buy Apple. India has little infrastructure, it has illiteracy rates of around 70%+, very low standards of living where a lot of people crap in the grass because there’s no plumbing, there’s probably more cows on the streets than cars. Seriously, it’s been like that for centuries and will probably take another century to get anywhere. People who bet on India will go broke before a turnaround. Cook just doesn’t understand. Westerners always think India can and will be like China. And that’s where they’re very wrong.
No. Cook isn't an idiot. And India is a developing nation. That isn't just a euphemism for third world. It literally is developing and is doing so at a staggering rate with a rapidly rising GDP and an educated middle class. You state illiteracy rates are over 70%, which would mean literacy is below 30%. Even in the worst performing Indian states it's roughly double that. Perhaps you meant literacy rates instead of illiteracy? Regardless, when you apply those percentages to India's population of over 1.3 billion, you still get a number - and a potential market - of many hundreds of millions.

  • If you updated your HomePod to 13.2, do not reset it or remove it from the Home app

I did have automatic updates enabled but quickly switched them off after reading the earlier article on Appleinsider about problems with this update. While I’m excited for the handoff feature, I’ll probably leave the updates on manual permanently and install them only after braver souls have tested the waters.

  • How to force restart your iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, or iPhone 11 Pro Max

Less than 48 hours after picking up the 11 Pro Max on launch day, I’ve already needed to follow the steps in this article for a forced reset as well as performing regular resets. iOS 13 is buggy.
