Given the current feud between the US president and China over trade, ongoing concerns of IP pirating in the area, and the fact that Apple still manages to demand (and get!) premium prices, suggests that this is just normal business, impacted by external forces that are neither predictable nor consistent. Just like you shouldn't dump your 401K after a bad day on Wall Street, missing an earnings projection shouldn't result in dumping any particular business. Every market has a correction now and again, and even Apple isn't immune to it. How they choose to react to it, no that is where the news will be -- and I would not expect to see a lot of teeth-gnashing or hear any layoff discussions from Apple as a result either.
