Apple may release a cheaper Apple TV streaming device in 2022, says Kuo
Why do people continue to use the word cheap when describing entry level and lesser expensive Apple device models. Apple does not make cheap products. They make premium quality products with different entry price points and features. The word cheap should never be used in an article regarding Apple. -
Apple bids farewell to Frank Casanova after pivotal 36-year tenure

seems more like a “hey buddy, thanks for everything, but it’s time” kind of convo had taken place.I wonder if this is the guy who pushed past Srouji and everyone who knew it wasn’t ready for prime time and got Tim on board. Bet Tim regrets it internally. He’ll never state that publicly, but he’s got to be wishing he had a do-over. -

UK group wants $4 billion payout for iCloud users
decoderring said:I agree with the UK group. Apple’s pricing versus its offer for storage is obscene and clearly a way to gouge customers month after month.
To say you don’t *have* to use iCloud is disingenuous. The truth is that you have to work to avoid using iCloud. And even when you set it up to avoid it, OSes revert to the default saving to iCloud after each major upgrade.
It’s one of the reasons why I dislike the current Apple. -

The cliffhanger at the end of episode 1 was truly annoying.
I am not surprised. It was terrible. I gave it 1 star on rotten Tomatoes.
