  • iPad Pro now has excellent options for professional video editors

More Hollywood work is edited in DaVinci Resolve, but anecdotally, its usage comes behind Final Cut Pro and definitely behind the industry leader, Adobe Premiere.

Almost no one edits in Resolve. It is used in many, many films for grading, but not for editing.  The professional leader editing software is, without doubt, Avid Media Composer. Premiere is way behind in the industry. It is used by many professionals to do real jobs, but mainly independent producers, or one-stop shops. As it was Final Cut, until Apple screwed it up, apparently and inexplicably, on purpose.
95% of the Hollywood film pros edit in Avid.

It is probably best to be a worker in Spain or France where the hours are short, they have siestas, 6 weeks+ annual paid holiday, a high statutory minimum wage, early retirement and very generous pensions.
Excuse me, but this is simply not true. People in Spain work long hours. Probably they spend more than average time eating, but then compensate it with a longer day than, say in Germany or even UK. Siestas? You must be kidding. Short of 4 weeks annual paid holiday, yes. The minimum wage is certainly not high, and the pension depends on how many years have been working.
