Apple accused of stealing dual-camera technology used in latest iPhones
The timeline conveniently didn’t mention in 2015 Apple had also acquired another Israel company, LinX Computational Imaging Ltd., which was also focusing on developing multi lens camera module. The deal happened precisely during the period when the discussion with Corephotonics fall silent. LinX had hold bunch of their own patents many of which are filed much earlier than Corephotonics’ (before they are founded in 2012) and some are also cited by those Corephotonics patents Apple alleged violated.

Corephotonics try to paint a picture where with no deal Apple have no other choice but to steal their tech, but in reality they are not the only companies approached by Apple, and the one with better technologies or value won the deal.
