  • Baseus USB-C Hub 9-in-1 Review: Maybe too much USB-A

I agree there should be a few USB-C ports, but I don't understand your complaining about too many USB-A. You really don't have any USB-A devices? I probably have 10 within arm's reach, including printers, scanners, external had drives and various iPhones and iPads.
I had USB-A devices but I replaced all my cables back in 2016 when I bought my 2016 15" MBP.   Not sure how anyone owning a modern MacBook hasn't done the same.  USB-C cables are not that expensive....
I use an external Logitech G mechanical keyboard which uses 2 USB-A ports.  My Logitech C920 webcam also uses USB-A.  Adapters like this are very handy for use case such as this.

  • Hands on with a 2019 iPad Pro model with three camera lenses

Go to something like a girls club volleyball tournament. You’ll see tons of people using iPads to record video. Having better cameras is never a bad thing. I really don’t understand people who disparage having better cameras on the iPad

I won't buy a "Smart TV" from many manufacturer. Since almost all TVs these days are smart, I'll probably never buy another TV.
My solution is not to connect my Smart TV to my home wifi and use my AppleTV to provide my 'smart' services instead.

  • Intel 'Alder Lake' chips take same approach as Apple's ARM designs

....[American Car Companies] are still saddled with a lack of innovative abilities -- particularly in the area that will define the future for automobiles:  technology.    Going forward, Tesla and others will be aggressively pushing the technological envelope.
This is pretty far off topic so I'll keep this brief. If you do a deeper dive, you'll quickly learn that your claim of a lack of innovative abilities is a pretty ridiculous statement. Tesla is ahead in some areas and behind in others.

  • Apple now allows developers to distribute custom apps to schools

@GeorgeBMac - what are you talking about?  Apple School Manager (ASM) has nothing to do with your anecdotal experience (Google Slides in a SaaS tool.  Just have your grandson point his browser to https://www.google.com/slides/about/ and edit his document there.  Or, have him download the mobile apps to his iPhone).

ASM has to do with how Schools and Academic Medical Center and HealthCare companies managed their corporate/school owned fleet of hardware, apps, and books.

The ability for ASM to now allow for custom apps is great, but it's frankly 3 years too late for my company.  We have a separate Apple Business Manager account specifically so that we can use and deploy custom apps.  For us to switch now would require us to replace the sToken on our MDM which would revoke the licenses for the apps  and then reinstall them.
