    Now to be fair, the signup was for a 30-day trial. But I was going to be out of the country and, amazing but true, wouldn't be using Amazon within those 30 days. So I called to have the Prime status canceled and asked if the 30-day offer could be reset so I could consider it on my return. It could not.

    Trust is a fragile thing. I'm sure the marketing department considers themselves very clever. And I'd expect they have statistics showing their antics glean more new customers than they lose. After all, who are you going to buy from if not Amazon?


    EBAY. Looong time user and frequently find identical item for less.
    AND you can limit your search to USA or North America or whereever - my first filter everytime!

     Why use such loaded language? It's not old-fashioned, it's just different. Works better with masks, allows use under a table without being a distraction to others, and various other advantages. Sure, faceID also has advantages, but those 2 words are just oddly biased and completely unnecessary.

    Read the sentence with other options, like "traditional", i.e.
        The traditional Touch ID sensor is still in use below the display.

     Or better yet, and more professional, no biased words at all, i.e.
    The Touch ID sensor is still in use below the display.


    Came here to say the same thing. I find the home button extremely useful especially for orientation and its already by my thumb. 
    Glad I bought a new Mini earlier.

    This looks like a huge glitch/oversight/screwup on Apple’s part. I don’t use that function but do use other assistive settings. 
    An email to Apple re: other disability issues went unanswered: Nothing for activity level between walking/running and wheelchair use, i.e. people who use canes/walkers.

    SMH. As a 24 year old, (who got an iPhone 10 years ago) this was literally a thing even then for our generation. It’s just taken 10 whole years for the rest of the world to realize we have felt this way. Or maybe we’re just adults now and people are finally listening to us ?     Just because your father is stoopid does not mean the rest of us olders are not openminded and able to think clearly. STOP GENERALIZING. It will make life easier.
