I purchased one for use with hiking and snow boarding.  Battery life is terrible and it shuts down in the cold without saving the video.

If you are planning to shoot short indoor video with this, then go for it, otherwise I'd stay away from it.

I think I have successfully made a test video in my lounge and maybe a couple of riding the lift to the top of the hill.

I really wanted this to be great, but very disappointed overall.
