for me it's the new "button I accidentally press 10 times a day".

That honor used to go to the volume up + side button. There were so many unwanted screenshots. I finally trained myself to handle the phone by its lower half—just in time for someone to stick a button there, too. 

I'm a Perplexity subscriber. I use it for scientific data searches and summaries. It has been excellent. If Apple could take the product and allow it to use the information you have stored locally in addition to the www, that would be transformative. I have a lot of papers stored locally that are behind paywalls, and I have a lot of data that was generated in my lab. To search beyond file names and keywords is a dream scenario.

Apple made its intentions clear years ago - at this point, they are simply slow-rolling things because sales and revenues are satisfactory. 

And we talked about running macOS on an iPad - why don't we look at running iPadOS on a MacBook Air? If you use an iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard full-time, the weight remains the same.

Mb Air 13 inch, 1TB, 16GB RAM = $1,399 

I would remove the Apple logo altogether from that lumpy abomination.
