Unfortunately even Apple doesn’t treat offline modes properly by not doing enough testing. Maps is a big stand out. Something that should absolutely be reliable in offline mode but Apple Maps has many issues when offline and every other navigation app is not even close to their offline capabilities. A shame because years ago there were many good options but now they all have killed off their apps that had “lifetime” purchases in favour of subscription models that require you to be online for even the simplest of tasks. -
