@ 22july2013 matter gets used in Apple Home now so more matter support the better for all home automation users.

@ Appleinsidesruser this is about Matter support and yes Matter supports motion/presence sensors and garage doors but cameras seam to be slated for version 2, whenever that arrives.

Maybe Apple should make an app available in the epic store and sue them for the exorbitant fees.

Doesn't help when so called triple A titles only work for a couple iOS versions then tell you to upgrade to the next paid version of their game

The court system shows it's usual lack of understanding. Apple is just one of so very many tracker producers and most other companies have done nothing to prevent misuse of their product. Some even advertise the fact

Nintendo and Sony want a store within the Apple ecosystem, at no charge…….

This should be applied to Nintendo and Sony as well to keep it fair.
Across the board for all online stores. Microsoft. Garmin and even V-tech just to name a few.

I don't expect it to be long before Epic are obnoxiously breaking rules to bypass some payment, " In the name of freedom of corse" and blame Apple's charges for making them take such a big cut from their store.

Unfortunately even Apple doesn’t treat offline modes properly by not doing enough testing. Maps is a big stand out. Something that should absolutely be reliable in offline mode but Apple Maps has many issues when offline and every other navigation app is not even close to their offline capabilities. A shame because years ago there were many good options but now they all have killed off their apps that had “lifetime” purchases in favour of subscription models that require you to be online for even the simplest of tasks. 

I use a USB-C to ethernet adaptor for testing at work all the time as well as a few other USB-C devices. There is no way I could go port-less at the moment.
