  • Logitech's Circle View review: the best HomeKit video doorbell money can buy

We previously had an ONVIF doorbell that was unreliable. It kept going offline. So I returned it and purchased a Logitech DoorBell last week. I installed it over the weekend. The Logitech doorbell installation was much easier than the ONVIF doorbell. So far we like the Logitech doorbell. We like how it integrates with our Apple devices. The video quality is pretty good for a doorbell. We like the icons at the bottom of the video identifying what was recorded by motion: car, animal, person. I have not set up facial recognition for the device.

Our only issue is the volume of the doorbell speaker. The chime volume is sufficient. We can hear a visitor speaking on our Apple devices just fine. But a visitor can barley hear our voices through the doorbell speaker. I contacted Logitech support. They told me there was no interface to raise the volume.  I followed their suggestion to try the iDevice app to raise the speaker volume. After my adjustment the volume remained inadequate. Logitech support said their developers were aware of the volume issue. Hope they resolve this issue soon.
