Apple Vision Pro 2 with M5 chip likely to arrive before budget models
In a moment of impulsivity, I purchased the Apple Vision Pro (AVP) for my upcoming extended travel plans. To my surprise, it has proven to be an invaluable travel companion and an important part of my life now.Over the past three and a half weeks of usage, I have identified several key advantages of the AVP:1. **Enhanced Mental Well-being and Productivity:** When faced with challenging situations, I can effortlessly disconnect from the world by pairing my AirPods Pro and Vision Pro device. Initially apprehensive about this feature, I have discovered that it significantly improves my mental well-being and boosts my productivity.2. **Contributing to Society Despite Disabilities:** I reside with severe disabilities that sometimes restrict my mobility to my bed. The Vision Pro has not only enhanced my productivity but has also provided me with a means to contribute to society, which I previously believed was beyond my reach. If you live with chronic pain, weakness, or functional limitations, I highly recommend this device.3. **Immersive Entertainment and Gaming:** The AVP has revolutionized my entertainment experience, particularly with 3D movies, immersive environments, and fully immersive video and gaming.4. **Enhanced Productivity with Magic Keyboard Integration:** Pairing the AVP with a Magic Keyboard significantly enhances productivity. The new Mac virtual display immerses websites, elevating the shopping experience. In the future, I envision Apple enhancing the device’s capabilities and providing compelling reasons to maintain its use. Some notable areas for improvement include:1. **Expanding Device Functionality:** The AVP currently lacks essential features such as phone calls and Apple Intelligence. Developers should explore innovative technologies and push the boundaries of what the device can achieve. User/developer feedback is crucial in driving these advancements.2. **Integration with VisionOS:** I urge Apple to integrate VisionOS with other Apple products, such as HomePods and WatchOS. This integration would enhance the overall user experience and enable seamless connectivity.I encourage you to embrace the potential of this emerging technology. The current developers have effectively enticed users through free trials, and I am willing to invest in meaningful experiences on VisionOS.Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. -

Apple TV+ abandons Clooney and Pitt's 'Wolfs' sequel
It would be beneficial for Apple to either discontinue releasing content to theaters or permit simultaneous release on digital platforms. Why? Vision Pro users anticipate content in either 3D or immersive video formats. However, this is not currently the case, as Apple TV+ does not offer 3D content. This omission raises questions about Apple’s vision for Vision Pro.Is Apple abandoning its vision for Vision Pro? Apple’s services are not being enhanced by its future technology (VisionOS). Why is there no Vision Pro app for Apple News? Why are there fewer spatial or immersive games? As a consumer, I am perplexed by Apple’s objectives with VisionOS. Tim Cook appears to believe it is a niche for individuals seeking advanced technology today. However, the leadership’s strategy, messaging, and future direction lack clarity. It seems as though Vision Pro was a costly mistake for Apple. As a consumer, I envision Vision Pro as a tool that will enable me to contribute to society when my physical limitations confine me to bed.I yearn for the magic and excitement I experienced with Apple products. I anticipate the introduction of a comprehensive suite of features. It occurred to me that this is why Apple introduces AI features gradually. These are the only features they have developed thus far. -
15-inch MacBook Air demand drops significantly, says Kuo
I wish Apple would have improved all of its operating systems more. I feel like the company’s quality is declining: lots of software bugs, most hardware releases haven’t “wowed” many and Siri isn’t doing the company any favors by not keeping up with the AI game that users can access natively. I feel like their work on integration or continuity isn’t progressing or keeping pace with the needs of people…more can be done with devices like Apple Watch, HomePod and Apple TV that haven’t been tapped. The lack of customization, overall, is disappointing. It’s getting better but not there yet. But I am holding out hope that their quality will improve and soon. Their work with accessibility features should continue but with richer offerings.
