One thing that I’ve not seen anyone comment on is that an AVP is actually less expensive than a 1984 Mac, in updated dollars. $2500 in 1984 dollars is the equivalent of about $7300 today. So why the “oh, it’s so expensive!” stuff about the AVP? Of course, it’s contrasted with todays products and prices, and not 1984’s. Still, cheap in my book.
