How to back up your Mac under macOS Tahoe

This isn't true – when you select a destination volume, CCC's Backup Volume Setup Assistant offers an option to create a bootable copy of the system. This particular scenario is actually a good example of when it's useful and appropriate to make a bootable copy of the system – you can do your Tahoe testing, for example, while your Mac is booted from an external disk.
