  • Hands on: iPhone 12 Pro Max in the real world

    I got my 12 pro max couple of days ago and I love it.  
    Yes, it is big, but it's barely bigger than 6s Plus, which i still had lying around. 
    The screen is gorgeous and fully expanded videos on it is just beautiful.  
    Many were complaining about the fingerprint prone shiny sides, but my pacific blue sides weren't noticeably bad.  Perhaps the color helps to hide them.
    It is quite hefty, though.  I would definitely get a case, because the extra weight may cause it to slip out of your hand more easily.

    well, don't go through Apple, then.  You'll lose potential/existing customers who uses Apple devices, but hey, it's better than paying Apple 30% of those proceeds, right? When Apple first started the AppStore way back when, it was a new source of revenue for all these companies.  They were grateful then... but now that 30% is "disgusting".

    My 2012 MBP still has a problem where it would freeze with screen being all scrambled and restart on its own.  This started happening couple of years into my ownership, so I wasn't able to get it fixed.  I waited for any recalls(because i still think it had to do something with the graphic card in it), but never came about.  I'm still using it and i'm typing this on it right now.  Other than that and the fact that Catalina is the latest MacOS that i can install on it, I love it. I'm waiting for M1x version of MBP or MBAir.
