Not that I need one (cuz I don't), MacBook Pros while fairly stout machines, have been becoming commodity/consumer machines, and not high-end pro machines they once were.
Except that Apple wouldn't want to minimize the 'Pro' part of the name, I'd like to see them manufacture a more capable notebook for pro use- more than 16G RAM, user replaceable and user replaceable storage. Don't know how there current video chipsets compare to the competition, but I'd like to see star-of-the-art video. And keep at least one USB3 port. Maybe an ethernet port, too.
Basically, have one heavy-duty, high end MBP that isn't designed with thinness being the first priority. Or even the fifth. Sure the market would be small. Apple would adjust the price accordingly.

Unfortunately the Ray is correct.We are lucky we got an update at the rate Apple is going towards the Mac.

But unfortunately. I cannot see them updating these machines quickly with the new chips. Can you? Skylake will sit in the machines for far longer than it should while the price stays high ala the Mac Pro.hmlongco said:

Final Cut is in the bin, the Mac will be following soon at this rate Apple.
Apple is close to abusive partner at this point. Just kill the Mac or do it properly and keep doing it. If you haven't got a Mac Pro say that you will have next Q don't just ignore it.

Don't know where you are in the world but in the U.K. Spotify is the main streaming service.
Apple Music is a laughable joke here, along with Apple Maps.
The service is slow compared to Spotify and the UI is absolute rubbish.
Still some work to be done by Apple on this. Trhey know and have made things better in iOS 10 but thy are still way off
