Apple TV+ review: 'See' is no 'Game of Thrones'
Joe Piervincenti said:Kinda sad that the only thing that matters is how the show compares to GoT. While, of course, that's not the only thing you mentioned, it still was mentioned far too often. That shouldn't be one of the main factors.

Control your Bentley's seat massagers from your wrist with new Apple Watch app
libertykrs said:amarkap said:I think these Watch Apps are cool and I applaud the developers and Bentley Motors for being innovative, but alas Apple really needs to do something to improve the experience of using Watch Apps. I've downloaded a few and sometimes they never load properly and other (or actually most) times, the apps are so slow. They don't even register swipes and presses sometimes. And this even of their own Apple Apps. Anyway, it will all get better and cool things like this will really drive up Apple Watch sales and make having an Apple Watch cool and a must have.I agree 100% with this statement. I get so nervous when someone asks me to "show me what you can do with your watch" because I know most of the time, apps (including Apple's) take forever to load - or don't load - and it's somewhat embarrassing that I've paid $500 bucks for a watch that doesn't work as it should. I tried using Apple Pay on my watch the other day, double-clicked the side button - - - wouldn't open my credit card so I could tap-to-pay - - it kept opening my fav contacts dial instead. Get home later, double-clicked my side button and wah-lah - there appeared my credit card ready to pay. Annoying & disappointing.
I really hope Apple Watch 2 is a vast improvement in responsiveness and reliability that I've become accustomed to with my other Apple products.
Every.Single.Time with me and that Apple Pay. I have done exactly what you described. One time I got so frustrated that the Credit Card didn't come up that I just pulled out the bloody credit card and paid for it old school. I mean it's my fault I don't use the feature enough but it was just funny to read someone else doing the same thing!

Apple Watch 'Apps at a tap' ads focus on travel, fitness and music apps
You know I was one of the early adopter's as they say and purchased one out of the gate. Of course, I received mine sometime in May but I got one. Anyway, here is the thing or should I say the Magical thing about my Apple Watch...I just like wearing it. I like it on my wrist. Nothing more nothing less...I look at it on occasion...I check the time...and honestly that is all it has to do. People say well, I'm not sure why I need it? What can it do that my phone can't. For me, let me answer that question...no one EVER has told me...hey you look good with that phone on you. Yet when they see my Apple Watch they say, hey that looks good on you! So it tells the time and looks good on me...and I spend about $500 for that. I can't be the only person in the world who spend a lot of money to buy something that looks good on them. So I'm happy.
Outside of that...sure little things are helpful. If there is one thing I use its the Activity App. It probably can be better but for now, it is solely responsible for me going just that little bit extra every day and now I am up to walking 4.5 miles every evening. I got a little bit of music with me to boot and with my Bluetooth headphones I'm walking light and enjoyably. Summer bliss...
Anyway, I'm just saying all these people who seem to have negative things to say about the Apple Watch ought to just buy one (well if its in their budget) and just wear it. Its magical how you will feel when wearing it...even if it did nothing more than tell you the time.
Done!

Rumor: 'iPhone 7' may not ship with Apple's Smart Connector after all
What exactly is this Smart Connector? I mean it passes data and power or something. I don't know...might have some potential I'm not seeing. Anyway, does it really matter if it comes in iPhone 7 or iPhone 8? Doesn't seem like a super exciting feature.

CurrentC inches closer to death as Apple Pay adds over 30 banks
Please know that I'm not meaning to bash Apple (or Apple Pay) when I write this, but honestly I don't really get it too much. I have an Apple Watch and I have used Apple Pay with it, but it was never like a game-changing moment. Partly my fault in that I forget what button to press to bring up Apple Pay on the watch but even the few items it all worked I guess it was just okay. Using a credit card would have been just as well. Again, not earth-shattering cool by any means for me. But I keep reading about how Apple is getting more and more banks and places to come on board...but I never really know why. Is it just to sell hardware? I can't imagine people going the way of Apple just for this. Maybe a little bit sure...but all this has got to be costing Apple some good money. I can say the Share price sure doesn't reflect this initiative. Anyway, no harm no foul I guess so keep going and maybe the new generation prefers all this.
