If the MacBooks actually get a Dynamic Island, maybe that means that FACE ID is coming with it!  That would be awesome!  (I have no idea why the notch cut-out on the current MacBooks is currently so wide.)

I agree!  Rarely do I hear anyone comment on the lack of FaceID in the new MacBook Pro.  To me, this is a BIG MISS.  Another sign that Apple isn't focusing on the Macs.  And where is the cellular option?  Should that be so hard to do?

And don't get me started on the keyboard.  Apple knows better and could do better with the keyboard.  It almost seems like intentional self-sabotage, given that Apple can't outright kill the MacBook Pro line.  Instead, take a key aspect of the laptop -- the keyboard -- and make it uncomfortable.

It's actually a very cool sleave!  I bought one with my 15" MacBook Pro a few weeks ago and have been getting a LOT of compliments from it.  It's a fun design and really well made.  I got the denim-blue; it's also available in denim-black.

The rumor DOES make sense:

1.  This year's chip for the Pro models is the 18 PRO.  There's no way they'd drop an 18 PRO in the base models next year.  That would be too confusing.

2.  Apple needs to combat perceptions that the base models are just "yesterday's tech."  Instead, watch for a 19 BIONIC in the base models, and a 19 PRO in the pro models.

It makes sense.

I am also exited about the macro capability, which is the reason I'm thinking of upgrading from an 11 Pro Max.
