  • Google bizarrely believes that iPhone photos can be fixed on a Pixel

I’m a long time iPhone user that just got an Android for app testing. Sorry Android is inferior. That’s not breaking any ground here. But hey, this is my actual 1st experience owning an iPhone knockoff.

  • Google bizarrely believes that iPhone photos can be fixed on a Pixel

…to be more specific in my comments… the organization of the OS is inferior as it seems chaotic. They loaded it up with games I didn’t ask for. Again, iPhone user, so making basic settings changes were difficult to figure out.

One bright spot. Google apps work great (as well as they can since I believe Gmail is poorly designed but I do use it.)

If Apple are epitome of car manufacturers, they should have no issues building their own car. Why give Apple any help whatsoever?
Network of dealers/warrantee shops. This could be as an optional service from privately owned dealers or as with Cadillac - mandatory (they are going all electric) with some Cadillac Dealers choosing not to carry the brand.

  • Apple to sell Apple Watch with blood oxygen detection removed to bypass ITC import ban

Also this takes the pressure off Apple that Masimo applied via the ITC. A decent solution for the moment.

  • Apple's AR headset probably won't need an iPhone to function

“…the initial $3,000 model” isn’t priced for consumers, obviously. This could be Apple‘s way of skimming the cream off the top of people that are so interested and so excited about the mixed reality headset that they’ll pay that kind of a price. One other little tidbit is that this could be like the original iPad… Said to be priced at $2000 (by the PC press) and it was released at $499. It was a big hit immediately.

If the “lower priced“ headset is at $1000, then this too will be an immediate hit. That would be essentially the price of the iPhone 14 Pro so I’ve got a little bit of wishful thinking going on there.

  • Apple will crush the DoJ in court if Garland sticks with outdated arguments

Joe Biden needs to go. I am sorry but I am not usually political but this guy is ridiculous
This started two years into the Trump administration.
Sure did! Biden erased many of Trump's initiatives.
    - Why not this one?!
    - What's the angle?
    - Does the administration hate Apple that much that they are looking for Any reason to knock an American company?

I appreciate the perspective of nudging Apple to change, but the ridiculous part is using a lawsuit to extract - what? extraction concessions? extract cash? - from Apple.

  • Apple self-driving test program grows to over 200 drivers

It is encouraging that Something is happening. It’s been 4 years since I saw an Apple Lexus on the roads of a northwestern Chicago suburb. I assumed it was just Apple Maps but it probably had autonomous driving equipment, why not.

The rumored steering wheel may simply be the law. Or the mindset of the horse and buggy folks, not ready to give up their old ways (like me).

  • What Apple would have to do to comply with Donald Trump's American-built mandate

This sounds like a Nancy Pelosi justification for the cut back of hours "workers more freedom" to pursue their "dreams." IMHO, that doesn't fly. Cutting back your hours means less cash -- which means less money to pursue "more freedom."

Every country, including ours, certainly has their own traitorous types.

Every country also has people who histrionically label everyone who disagrees with them as a "traitor", though, too. People who do that risk spending their lives in a state of lonely, frightened, bitterness. Sad.
Are missing the point on purpose? Your false traitor example shows me that you may call people names that you disagree with, projecting this on someone else. Was that an anti-Trump comment regarding the wall? And destroying iPhones as a Trump trait?

Funny that the Chinese have built The Great Wall(s) of China over more 1,500 years to protect their borders and control the trade routes through their country. Next thing you'll say is that to hell with protecting national borders and trade routes.

On topic, to destroy a few iPhones, to get publicity by "destroying something American," is in fact troubling. Apple has been respectful of the Chinese... and Apple is having to deal with the "squeeze" of the Chinese gov't regarding the App Store, censorship, etc.
