  • Apple Watch Series 10 to be thinner and have larger screen size

Don’t go thinner, go thicker and get longer battery life. If they go thinner and brag about same day battery life that is just pants. Longer battery. My ultra is now down to 1.5 days and it’s a pain. Come Apple, we need 5 day battery. Bigger watch longer battery please.

  • EU tells Apple to open everything up to its rivals

Surely the consumer should be allowed to decide not the EU. I don't want this opened up to anyone. I am happy locked behind Apple's gates. Shine on. EU Policing. Someone is doing deals in the backrooms to make this sort of rubbish a policy.

  • Trump Mobile's made-in-US iPhone 17 competitor is really made in China

This has to be a joke? Surely it's a disgusting conflict of interest. A serving US president to market a phone that aligns with his policies at the same time one that is not truly made in America. Shocking. American's you are being taken for a ride. You get what you voted for, that is for sure,

  • 'Scary Fast' iMac with M3 is here with few external changes

Pretty boring with the same form factor and ugly chin. I was hoping for something gorgeous looking that made me want to go out and buy one. Something that looks sleek, modern and progressive in my home office. Oh well, looks like my 2014 iMac will have to continue to collect dust.

    Apple Photos

I am dreading the new apple photo app changes. It just looks terrible, cluttered and confusing. Furthermore, half my thumbnails will not be visible on the whole screen. There will be swiping left, up and down and then some things will be auto hidden, to be honest, it looks a mess. Yet it's geared as a major overhaul. These things are not necessarily good but if Apple stuffs the photo app, it could break me from continuing to be an apple fan boy.

  • UK group wants $4 billion payout for iCloud users

If this won, users would get a measly £70 if they are lucky, but the lawyers millions. This is not about consumers this is all about lawyers benefits. No other reason.

  • How stolen and locked iPhones are being broken down in China for profit

London mayor Sadiq Khan ordered Apple, Google, and others to a meeting to discuss smartphone theft”

Shocking. Sadiq is not doing enough to deter thieves. Harsher punishments and other controls should be used. It’s too easy and these scumbag criminals know if caught they get a pat on the back and sent on their way. Something needs to change. England is way to soft on crime.

  • Revamped Photos app in iOS 18 makes searching better, but hides a key sharing control

The new photos app looks terrible, confusing and messy. I am dreading the upgrade. Swipe left, swipe up and then some photos auto hidden (e.g. screenshots) from some views.

It's geared as a major overhaul and there are no doubt some welcome changes but when this was demonstrated on the keynote, my heart sank with dread. I just thought, oh my god, I am going to get lost in that thing. Major over hauls are deemed exciting but sometimes they can be a disaster.

I have never had such apprehension in an app update as I have with this photos app. I hope I am proved wrong when it's released.

Quote from AppleInider "Most of those (images) are now much more visual, and it takes quite some scrolling to get to the old plain text list showing Hidden, Recently Deleted, and so on.

Case in point, this doesn't sound great. Lets hope by the time the full release is issued that this is a lot better thought out.

  • Adobe hikes Creative Cloud prices with a rebrand no one asked for

Adobe is the least value for money product on the market. Buggy as hell, why would anyone want to use Adobe products. This is price gouging.

  • WWDC macOS 16 wishlist: What we'd like to see Apple add for power users

For me, it’s Apple Mail. The way text formats, the way it adds attachments and worst of all the way when you sent an email to a window user and it attached tons of useless files needs to change.
Even responding to an email on the iPhone it takes FOREVER to load the message. At this rate, I’m close to dumping apple mail.
Next, photos should download onto Apple TV so you don’t load from the cloud, you should be able to tap to zoom.
