  • Apple CEO Tim Cook calls for racial equality in light of US shooting deaths

This is a huge problem but the establishment of the Welfare state didn't help the situation but rather it made the situation much worst. Frankly I don't really understand the African American community, at least that part of the community that has embraced the welfare state. It is a hideous creation of the Democrats, the public housing for example is just another aspect of slavery that the Democrats have always supported. The absolutely hilarious thing here is that the Democrates actually got people on welfare to willingly move into these public housing prisons. I'm not sure which is worst, the Democrats inability to give up their connections with slavery, or the gullibility of people that let them continue. I do believe ignorance is a big part of the problem.
Public housing and welfare are supposed to be a stop gap. Many successful people have come from there. The CEO of Goldman Sachs grew up in public housing in Brooklyn. The difference is the family structure and education. More blacks need to get motivated, get up, get educated, and get a job or a business.
On aggregate, more whites receive public assistance than blacks; blacks do need to get motivated and educated, but it helps immensely if they don't get killed or harassed.

  • French, German ministers to meet in push to counter encrypted messaging apps

Still fighting the War of Independance. So predictable with your hate fuelled bile, devoid of empathy, dishonest and a stuck_in_a_rut gun nut.
Yes, there's lots the US is free of too
Just another fascist wrapping themselves up in the Flag and carrying a Cross, blah blah blah, anyone different than me can die.

There is nothing to gain from the French and Germans banning encrypted communications, terrorists will just use out-of-band comms such as physical and digital dead drops like they always have.

  • Iran to reportedly allow iPhone imports to cope with rampant smuggling problem

Nice to see Apple's fine doing business with a country that actually executes gays. So much for principles.
And nice to see you taking a strong stand in favor of gays, and at a higher moral ground than Tim Cook. Bravo.
Conservatives concerned for the welfare of Iranian homosexuals, well, I was wrong about them lacking compassion.

Actually that deal STOPS Iran's weapons plans. But thanks for playing.

Of course if Apple wanted to go that judgmental  route there's a lot of American states they'd have to stop selling in eh? Awkward.
It was just revealed officially that Iran can have a weapon rather quickly under the deal. Your godking lied to you again.
Huh? Who revealed what officially? And please, only mainstream sites, not Breitbart, NewsMax or Stormfront. You can even quote from defense and military specific rags.

Why is it that people always want sources (instead of looking it up for themselves), when its something they don't want to hear?

It's almost as if this were a textbook human reaction or something...
actually no, its very common (and codified on some sites, i believe MR is one) that the person making a claim bears the burden for backing it up as anything other than their own personal or shared delusions. the burden of proof lies with the claimer.

IOW, "Links, or it didn't happen"
Agree, why isn't this obvious to people? We're not talking MLA/APA citation format , just post the link, even if you went to the "school of hard knocks" or "life university" it's pretty easy to figure out.
  • During military coup, Turkey's President Erdogan uses Apple's FaceTime for televised iPhone intervi

Turkey is a member of NATO and a primary US ally in the Middle East, so Obama doesn't have much leeway in whether he gets to "support" the country. But if you don't like dictators, think about the Republican nominee and his bromance with Putin and his accolades for Saddam Hussein. The US has its own conservative right wing & religious fundamentalists who been marching toward converting the nation into this exact same type of religious-dictatorship. I hope you feel the same way about freedom in the US as you express regarding Turkey.
Putin is A-OK with me. I have no problems with Putin. Putin is no threat to me or to the USA. There are far greater threats in the world to the USA than Russia. There is no cold war anymore between the USA and Russia. The USA should be friends with anybody who hates Islamists.

Donald Trump will get along great with Putin and everything will be fine and dandy with Russia-US relations. Russian relations have suffered under Obama, but that will be fixed soon, as soon as Trump is placed into the Whitehouse. We can go and kill Islamists together, in a joint and successful operation with our Russian allies.

As for the USA, I think that religious fundamentalists of all stripes are retards, but in no way, shape or form, would I agree that there is a valid comparison between any Christian fundamentalists and Islamists.

Only one of those two groups is currently waging war against the entire world and is actively seeking to conquer the entire world, spreading their cancer worldwide. Ergodan is an Islamic fundamentalist, a thug, an extremist, an authoritarian, and Turkey under his control is no friend to the civilized world.

The best chance for preserving freedom in the USA and the decent parts of the world is for Trump to win.

So you like Trump who likes Putin who bromances with China who bromances North Korea, so you are OK with North Korea and China then (I'm sure they don't like Jihadists either.) And yeah, of course Donald Trump and Putin will get a long fine, that's a given. Also, don't be gullible to think that Russia is incapable of a significant joint nuclear strike with China considering their exit from the Nunn-Lugar program.
