Yeah, the situation is inexplicable. The AppleTV could be a great streamer and all-in-one media centre. The hardware limitations on a premium product make no sense and continue to disappoint.

I don’t think cooking is one of the things I’d do while wearing a computer on my head.

I agree with the UK group. Apple’s pricing versus its offer for storage is obscene and clearly a way to gouge customers month after month.

To say you don’t *have* to use iCloud is disingenuous. The truth is that you have to work to avoid using iCloud. And even when you set it up to avoid it, OSes revert to the default saving to iCloud after each major upgrade.

It’s one of the reasons why I dislike the current Apple.

I’ve given up it coming to Canada as well. It’s clear the banking industry, like the telco industry, is too well-protected to allow any real newcomers.

Could we just stop with these useless articles — everyone will be better off not constantly seeing articles about a mercurial individual whose only goal in life is to twist everyone’s undies in a bundle for his own ego gratification.

Wow, I think this is the first time I’ve ever not wanted to install an update.

I’ll do it because there are likely some security updates, but I wish it were possible to not have all the AI stuff that, for me, just creates bloat.

Overall, I really like the language. Sure, there are some things to refine, mainly concerning the translucency of some of the elements, but overall the design seems well thought-out and in service of usability.

I often thought about Aqua while reading the rumours leading up to the big reveal yesterday, but I wanted to hold out on making any decisions until Apple was able to present its work. It’s easy to see references to other OSs — prior Mac ones or from other platforms —, and that what design is often about.
