This lawsuit was doomed from the get go. The term "App Store" or application store fails the generic test. You can't TM generic things.

If you believe this I have a bridge to sell you... cheap. \

"...various sources have hinted that the iPad 3 won't come until 2012." Who writes this shit? Of course the "3" will come in 2012. It will be the standard 2012 refresh; probably in April.

All lawsuits cost money. Both companies decided that the cost to litigate was more than the cost to settle so they settled. Nokia gets royalty payments for something and Apple gets access to something they were probably already using. It's almost…

This is not likely and would be a big mistake. Not only would all the software written for OS X instantly become unusable (at least without an emulation layer) but they would lose a comparative edge when it comes to the rest of the PC world. A lot o…

USB is a standard interface. As long as the voltage matches and you're not drawing more Amps than the unit produces you should be fine. I charge my HTC EVO using my Nook wall charger all the time.

As long as Thunderbolt/Light Peak is adopted by more OEMs and 3rd party parts builders then it will surpass USB 3.0 and become the mass storage interface of the time. USB 3.0 even in Super Speed mode does not have the bandwidth that Thunderbolt does…

It would seem it's shared. http://www.appleinsider.com/articles...cbook_pro.html "According to Notebookcheck.net, the 320M does not have dedicated graphics memory, but uses shared memory for the system for its graphics processing, giving it po…
