  • I've just reread my post and the information on the control panel. The opposite is true. (code for I was wrong!) You need a separate IP address on the VPC compared with the Mac for it to work. And just to prove it works
  • The key to VPC networking seems to be to use the Virtual Switch. If the Mac can communicate to the real world outside then Virtual Switch will mimic all those contacts.
  • I've had no problems with connecting through ethernet to the internet using VPC 6.0 or 6.1 on my 12" Powerbook. It works within the company network and on my wireless network to broadband at home. I've just gone through the interminable installat…
