Your slightly off, read the article on Tom's hardware and you will see with firewire the CPU still spiked to 100% when he was using all the copying power. Firewire still uses the cpu. USB 2 is nearly identical in it's processing power, it has chi…

Sorry, but if you're drive supports both usb2 and firewire, there will be no difference in speed. NONE. 1. your hard drive inside the case can't even transfer data at 1/100 the speeds that usb2 and firewire offer. 2. In independing testing (s…

You need resolution independence for what now? Do you have a 300dpi or even 200dpi display? Do you have a graphics card that can drive this? Hell we don't even have a processor that can drive this sorta thing. This is about 2 years off on my list…

why is this a good idea? Who the hell's going to stand in line for music? Virgin, and about 20 other companies that planned to do this all abandoned plans. Everybody has a computer, and if they have an ipod they obviously have access to a compute…

no offense This application wasn't designed for people with imacs. It's design for photo editors who drop 50k like you might drop a penny ;-) Quote: Originally posted by sjk There's no mention of GPU memory requirements under the Minimum Syste…

Where do you make up such crap? Apple doesn't give two bits if Adobe uses core*anything. It's not advantages to Apple in anyway.. and most importantly would isolate Adobe mac apps from the windows versions making them different, on each platform. Yo…

To the best of my knowledge there is really know way. Keep them outta iphoto ;-) Or your best bet is to make a second account just for him, that way your iphoto isn't accessable.

It's cool, if you install a bunch of quicktime codecs you can watch pretty much any movie you put in your movies folder. Too bad their wasn't a media center that used mplayer, or vlc for it's video playback ;-)

The reason their isn't a bluetooth version, is because it's simple, bluetooth sucks, and the latency sucks for this, and Apple knows this.
