In fact, just after I wrote this, I went into the Mail app and it crashed. Huzzah.

I don't think the above posted was referring to the OS X version. Safari and a host of other apps crash regularly for me on both my iPad Air and 5S, which I have never experienced on any of my previous iOS devices. I thought clearly the move to 64…

Different strokes for different folks. If you do any software development or database work, you need all the pixels you can get (whether they're 10 inches from your face or otherwise). The MBA has a great resolution in my opinion for a 13" machine…

I don't believe: They only had enough components for 13? MBA at the time The unprecedented success of the new MBAs made it impossible to source components for both machines They plan on going to double-resolution IPS panels for the next MBPs after L…

Well here is some interesting news from cpu-world.com which should maybe ease some concerns. The GPU is not underclocked by default--this isn't to say Apple won't do this themselves, but it is at least interesting to see that Intel is not deliverin…

You could be right, but I would be surprised. If you look at the CPU benchmarks on the current 13" MBP vs the prior generation, the performance gain is anything but modest. Even if the CPU is underclocked for battery optimization or maybe even jus…

Just realized you might have meant power in terms of performance, not power in terms of "power." Either way, I think the huge performance gains seen in the latest generation of the 13" MBP more than justifies the Air moving to Sandy Bridge.
