Actually, I think it IS a promo video as opposed to a commercial. The description of the shoot over at PowerPage sounds exactly like the current promo videos they show at the Apple stores...about iMac, iPod, etc.

My friend's 1 Ghz AMD (on a 133 bus) actually clocks at 1007 Mhz, this would probably be the case with a 1 Ghz PPC, although ya never know.
