This is why there are courts and laws are not determined constitutional or unconstitutional by popular vote.

Actually, yes, most of the photos present by Powell at the UN in 2002 were the same kinds of photos Stevenson presented in 1962. The point is that intelligence can be inaccurate. Even if the Iraqis possessed significant amounts of WMDs, they did…

The difference was that you can tell what a giant nuclear missle is from a bird's eye view and can't see what's in a building from a bird's eye view.

Cheney is a liability. He's in the same position as Quayle going into '92. So is Bush. In fact, I think this whole election will be one giant '92 repeat. Bush won't dump Cheney. It's not going to happen--it displays a bad sense of loyalty t…

In all fairness, this is not merely the same world as it was in 1962. We had nothing to offer Saddam Hussein like we did Khrushchev. The Bush administration could not offer conclusive proof like that of JFK. Operating under the mindset that Sadda…

Quote: Originally posted by Kirkland Wow, I was not aware of that. She can't be president or vice president, then. That's too bad, she seems like a very impressive person. Okay, then, put me on the Bill Richardson bandwagon (for now). :-) K…

Blizzard's games irritate me because they do not make efficient use of the Mac's hardware--compared to MacSoft or Aspyr, anyways.

I was just at U of M last weekend. They have both PC's and Macs on campus, but they have Indigo iMacs lined just about everywhere (library, food court, etc.). The fish bowl in Angell Hall is really a sight. G5's, Apple Pro Mice and keyboard, an…

Thanks for the reccomendations knappa, The Mac Boudille site's method doesn't work with either OS 10.2 or iTunes 4.2; iTunes gave a "not enough memory" error when using that method. The iTunes CDRW Helper was unable to detect the drive. If …

Finally got fed up with all the memory leaks and system lock-ups to the point where I was rebooting the machine about 4 times daily. With PC's, the longer you have them, the buggier they get, and thus far my Mac has proven to be the opposite case.

Well...do YOU see someone on a train that smells like piss with an Apple laptop as someone trying to make some kind of status statement?

If you decide to go with the eMac line instead of the iMac line, don't bother waiting for MacWorld Paris--the eMac line got its last revisioned release in May 2003, so they certainly aren't due soon. Unless you are a "Mac enthusiast" (most switch…

Okay, newbie question: how do I switch between the two?
