Just a note ARMv7 supports 48 bit addressing via PAE...so 4 gigs wouldn't be the limit. Android phones could indeed use over 4 gigs, so that's not an excuse to jump on the 64 bit bandwagon... However their is a 4 gig limit per process

Or you could use PhotoPresenter. http://www.arizona-software.ch/appli...opresenter/en/ Great little app, you can also render out a movie from that.

Just i case anybody was having the same problem with the keynote. I had to go the the MIDI setup and change the sample rate yo 44,000 khz in order to hear sound.

Hey guys when I try to watch the Keynote stream I can't hear any audio. I have a G5 Dual Core 2.0 ghz. I re-installed quicktime and nothing works. Audio works for everything else fine. Every video and everything else on the whole system.

Actually last I heard the 20 inch widecreen Apple and Dells are LG panels. I can't say enough about the Dells. I hate their PC's but the monitors are great. You can get them real cheap too. I've had mine since November of last year with no problems.…

Get a Dell 20" widescreen. Look for coupons online. You might be able to get it for like $350.00. I have the older version and they are great. I'm gonna add another.

Hasn't Unix been "Battle Tested" for over 20 years?

I agree Launchbar is faster, I've used both. I prefer QS because of the things I can do with it. It ultimately saves time in many more ways than LB does. Plus I really like the Bezel interface. With the news plug-ins like Constellation and being abl…

Well Quicksilver is free and plenty fast on my new DC G5.

Quote: What exactly does Quicksilver do?? Well honestly anything you want it to do. It is very good at launching apps but you can set it up to do lots of things. For example: I select text in Safari > Press F1 > Type "MT" (for Mail…

I hope so. I think I am going this year too. Final Cut Pro 6 will be awesome.

I agree with what everyone is saying Adobe doesn't seem to care about the Mac community. But I really don't think Motion can fill AE's shoes anytime soon. Motion is a great app and it's really fast but AE just has a lot more tools that Motion. I mea…

Besides Crucual what other place is a pretty reputable dealer for RAM.

Thanks for your response it is pretty silly for FCP to not be able to mix formats without rendering. By the way I have the 6600 with 256vRAM. How would the 7800 help in FCP? I know it would do wonders in Motion but I don't think FCP takes advanta…

Hey guya I have a question I've been using FCP for a long time at home. At work I've been using a PC with Vegas 6(AMD 3400, 512 RAM, 200gig HD) It just seems that Vegas it a lot faster ut gives realtime previews on all effects even when you have a b…

Well I don't think I can afford 2 gigs right now. I would be either gigs or 1 gig and a 250 internal HD. I think I'll go for the HD and the 1 gig. I did see some company selling 2 gigs pair for 174 of something like that. I can't find that site a…
