On my PowerBook G4: * iChat fails to connect to either AIM or Rendezvous after reconnecting to network after sleep. Only a reboot will fix this. * The occasional black screen after sleep problem persists in Jaguar. Happens about once in 20 tim…

So, has anyone played with Rendezvous? In my opinion it's one of the most exciting features. Is it present in the preview? If so, screenshots please! [ 05-13-2002: Message edited by: richard788 ]

Hey, you don't need a kernel panic in order to loose your preferences, check this discussion,

I didn't know about the Stickies bug. All the same Apple should have ironed out such a simple flaw by now. The Palm Desktop seemed to suffer from the same problem as Stickies. That lead me to suspect an OS related issue. The mouse is indeed …

It's not only the speed... Aqua sometimes seems to miss user input, like mouseclicks. It happens often enough to make the OS feel a bit "slippery" (if you know what I mean). I've experiensed on three differnt machines - an iMac, Cube and now my new …

You must be runing IE6 already The current version 5.1.3 (3905) does not respect the Dock - try maximizing a window and you'll find that it goes behind it. Well, anti-aliasing is certainly not enabled. Buttons and dropdown menues are no…

I doubt USB can provide the throughput necessary to accomodate 1280x1024 for example. One's usually stuck on 640 or 800. Buying a flat screen TV is very expensive. Getting a 17" LCD and a old PowerMac G4 to serve as TV is much less expensive.

Why Firewire? Because roughly three quarters of Apple's sales lack PCI.

That's great because I've heard that theKeyspan remote isn't such a great product.

Yeah, but they probably won't. SJ has a dislike for TV on computers for some odd reason. The way I see it TV is the missing link in the digital hub.

It's easier to make Formac do it. They've already got the products. They just need to shave it off some...
