I'm sorry, but Safari still feels dead-slow to me.

Installed here. Running great.

Yeah, if you go through the online store, they don't ask for proof. Some people say they've had a *check" I never did, but I was also legitimate.

I like everything about Safari, except its slowness. If I'm impressed by the speed of Safari 2.0 in Tiger, I will switch back.

Argh. I sure wish the new Powerbooks had had dual-layer support with Tiger. That is the one big thing that I wish my Powerbook had. Dual-layer burning.

Where did you see this? How do you sign up? Thanks.

Yes, they are having an online seminar now on the cinema displays, and it is simply a quicktime. However, if the Tiger seminar is in H.264 that will be very sweet indeed.

Scott, Yes, the memory upgrade is what you need. You'll be surprised. Your mini will really speed then. A 512 stick would take a lot of that away, but a gig is even better. 256 is too little. You'll really be happy, if you put a 512 or 1GB st…

Argh. I had to restart last night. Powerbook has issues about returning from sleep, sometimes, when connected to external display. Everything goes black, and it refuses to even go back to sleep. You have to hold down the power button, which turn…

If you buy a car in late Fall, the models will all be the next year's at that point.

Wow. A great Powerbook, and amazing software. You've really got a special setup there. Enjoy it.

I really want to see dual-core G4s. However, from what I've read, the chip probably wouldn't be ready until early 2006. I think a dual-core G4 would be ideal, for Powerbooks.

Well, mail checks your spelling in real-time, and Appleworks has a spell-check button. In Safari, you can right click text to get spelling help.

Well, obviously that 20 inch ACD will blow away the 15 inch display on the Powerbook. For that reason, I would recommend the 12 inch Powerbook and 20 inch ACD. I have the same setup. The only drawbacks? You're limited to 1.25GB of memory with …
