I'm going to try to upgrade my notebook, with every Powerbook release. Macs hold a decent resale value, and you don't lose a lot, when you upgrade early-on.

Whenever I'm not working on my computer, I go to the upper right hand corner of the screen and select from the user list "Login Window." You can then put the machine to sleep, and it will wake-up at the login window. I do this all the time.

I'm not sure how it works with the xbox. However, when I had a Mac Mini, I bought a second airport express. I plugged it in by the Mac Mini, and I used an ethernet cable between the second airport express and the Mac Mini to provide the access t…

webavatar, Great points! I particularly agree about it not being released at NAB, and I also agree that they will want to have it announced, before next Wednesday's conference call. Oh, I so hope you're correct...

The casual mac fans are the lucky ones. They enjoy all the wonderful things of OS X, and then one day they notice "hey, 10.4 is out now. I'll have to order it." No worries, no waiting.

Toadie, I seriously considered that display, before going with Apples. I think either is a great choice, and I guess I gave into the looks of the cinema display, and that I'm mad at Dell right now, for a problem one of my systems have. haha T…
