My iMac arrived today, so here it is iMac G5 20" 1.8Ghz 1gb RAM 250gb HDD Airport and Bluetooth Wireless mouse and keyboard It's cool. My Powerbook is offscreen somewhere being used by my girlfriend.

So... what *are* the joys of iCal? I had a quick look at the program, but i couldn't see much past the calender function, and i've never seemed to develop a use for calanders. Is there something deeper that i'm missing?

The amount of space you'll need depends on a *lot* of factors... Number of songs, compression format, bitrate, etc etc etc As for the number of songs, i have just under 3000 on my 15gb 3rd Gen iPod
