At the moment, i have a Mac (15" PowerBook) to complement my PC (Athlon 3000 based XP system). However, i enjoy using Mac OS X so much that i'm planning to sell my PC system and use the money to buy a new iMac and go Mac only.

I've got a 15" PowerBook running Panther 10.3.5 No problems with the program so far.

Thanks for the replies folks Currently using Azureus and it seems to suit my needs well enough

This probably sounds really stupid, but i'm in a slow mood... It's a 20" viewable screen right, the 20" isn't the 4:3 enclosure? Either way, i think it's great and i'll be saving up for a 20" model. It looks even better in the expo pictures, w…

As with the sunflower design, it seems to be a love it/hate it thing. Personally, I really like it. It's not as novel as the Sunflower (a design that i love), but it's smooth, clean and it takes up very, very little desk space. Does it accomp…

The Vaio W is butt ugly, don't want to see something like that. The V isn't too bad at all, and i'd be very interested in seeing how Apple could put a spin on the style.

Have to agree with pretty much everything here. I'd never used a Macintosh OS, or any Mac software until my PowerBook arrived earlier this year, but now I love it. Apple software isn't just gorgeous, it's simple and deceptively powerful. A great …

Having watched his OS X features video before i bought my first ever Apple product (a 15" PowerBook), i think Omar should be Apple's spokesperson in Jobs' absence

http://www.vaio.net/models/desktops/v/index.html That's also very similar. The Vaio V Series. It's a pizza box type thing with everything behind the screen, comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard too. It's pretty ugly, but it shows that behind-…

I've just got back from visiting my local Sony Centre (gawd damnit, i want a 42" LCD tv) and i have to say, the Vaio W isn't *ugly* but it is pretty clunky. It's not got a bad spec though, and i guess in purpose it's the windows equivalent of th…

I've been thinking about it and i will almost definitely buy the high end iMac. All it took was a bit of a deeper probe into what i'd actually use a new Mac system. General net browsing, word processing, using the system as a digital hub, iLife, …
