Unfourtanetly, Quicktime sucks for playing flash games because Quicktime tries to play them like movies. The solution for this is to go to "Get Info" for a .swf and change all .swf files to launch in Safari. I am confused by the subject: A way…

Yeah its totally safe to experiment killing processes, a quick restart and everythings back to normal. I do it all the time.

You can list processes through terminal by typing "ps aux" and it will list all processes with a process number. You can then type "kill x" where x is the process number. An easier way to do it would be to open up a program called "Activity Mo…

Personally I would write a java applet that allows them to upload submissions via a webpage, and have the applet email the submissions to me. Not really hard to do in java, probably

First, I would put the old harddrive back in, leave the new ram in, and see if it boots fine. If it does then you know the problem is with the new harddrive. If not then the problem is with the new ram. Thats just what I would in a situation li…

Hate to troll, but thats what you get when you use XP ;-)

Wait, what do you mean by memory chip? Are you talking about RAM?

If you think it might be a hardware problem, go Google "Techtools Deluxe." It's a program that will analyze all your hardware and let you know what might be wrong. I think it comes with applecare.

Yes, this is possible. You need a 3rd party program to do it. Google "Ollie's iPod Extractor." Thats what I use and it works great.

You are correct, cards can be run at lower speeds. I'm running a 8x Radeon 9500 on my 4x motherboard.

Actually i'm pretty sure that ratings do get transfered to iPods and vice-versa.

If you have an apple store nearby, I'd recommend bringing it in for a little checkup. Sounds like a product defect.

What happens when you try deleting it manually?

Yes, as root he would be able to read your email.
