You guys are getting hosed up there in Canada You could be getting a 20" iMac 2.0 Core Duo refurb for $1349.00US
-
$3,100 USD???? Geez what were planning to buy? Sounds to me like you're in Mac Pro Territory.

A 23" model might have enough room to allow for a PCI-e expansion slot. That would be GREAT news for gamers and audio video users.

Really it's the white KB that I have a problem with the most. I keep my displays squeeky clean.
-
The prices for LCD screens has come down enough to make a 23" iMac an affordable possibility. I'd also like to see Apple offer an iMac Black. While white looks stunning, it's not very easy to keep clean and some may feel that a black iMac …

I'm in a bind with one of these MacBooks because my oldest daughter has her birthday on Sept. 7th. a week too early. I may consider an Apple Store gift certificate or a home made MacBook IOU so that she can still take advantage of any upgrades.

I'm getting ready to buy 2 MacBooks for my girls, so I'm hoping to see all Apple laptops upgraded to Merom processors. Soon!

The new MacBook will finally have enough VRAM to fully support and external display. I agree that Apple would be using very poor judgement to disable screen spanning on their most affordable laptops. As and educator, you should write Apple Cor…

Apple always seems to leave out desirable features in their 1st releases, so I doubt you'll see any major improvements until Apple updates the MBP's to Meron or better. I'm pretty sure there will be a very basic MacBook for the k-12 education …

It's some defective component in the last production run that's causing uneven shading and bright pixels all over the screen. Sorry I can't remember exactly what they said it was, a switch I think. Edit: found it http://forums.macrumors.co…

I'm really anxious to hear the real life reviews particularily regarding heat and noise in the dual cores. These chips may run more efficiently, but we have no proven track record on how the dual core chips will hold up in the real world. My…

Be extra careful on that 30" display. There's a bad production run with some serious problems caused by some faulty component that is rapidly becoming a known issue on the 30" I was really surprised to hear about this on Macrumors where a m…

I just have two words about the all new G5 QuadraMac EEEET'S ALIVE!

Those curtains are telling me that this presentation might have something to do with Video Podcasts and iTunes Videos, but I wouldn't rule out something for the home theater at all. Podcasts are rapidly becoming mainstream and Video Podcasting …

The perfect solution to replace that old space heater under your desk.

I guess it really will be an early release here since they start at 10:A.M. in Paris. Lots of people are waiting eagerly with paper and plastic in hand for this one. My favorites would be 13" WS HD PowerBook, 512MB, 128MB VRAM HD di…

Some would argue that MS Windows is even more counter productive even though it's fully optimized for the system it's on
